I dare you to sit down and write an About page describing yourself in a nutshell. It really is so much more difficult than you think. What’s important? What to leave out. I’ll just give you the highlights… For now.

I’m Laura but my family calls me Lo which is lazy for Lolo which is lazy for Laura. Lolo is my personal favorite hence my blog name. I turned 50 in July. I’m six feet tall and weigh more than most linebackers. Needless to say you’ll see me coming! I am married to Larry – he’s 68. Yep, he was a cradle robber 22 years ago when we got married! We have one dog named Dale Cooper. He is a Goldendoodle who sheds like a motherfucker. I believe in God and curse like a truck driver.

I live in Las Vegas – moved here in May 2015 from Portland Oregon. Larry is a retired dentist who lived in Modesto, California. My most recent iteration was as an owner of a breakfast cafe called Jam on Hawthorne. I sold it at the beginning of 2015 – it’s still there and awesome if you’re ever in Portland. .

I’m lazy and it seems easier to fill you in on my likes and dislikes rather than compose a long, boring tale.

I’m sure I’ll add to those lists with time but that gives you a good overview of what I’m all about. This website is my way of putting everything I believe in – out there. I always have an opinion and this way I can give it to you without autonomy. I stand behind the things I like and don’t like and don’t believe in hiding behind a username. Hopefully my posts will make you happy or at least make you think.
